How Web 2.0 can Revolutionize Your Blog

How Web 2.0 can Revolutionize Your BlogBlogging is not what it used to be. Gone are the days of the simple blog with posts and comments, and maybe a few images here and there. A few years ago we wowed at the facility for users to leave comments, and at extra features like archives and blogrolls—or links.

However, the modern blog is a different animal. It is true that blogging has become significantly more competitive as a means to make an income than it was a few years ago. Of the millions of blogs out there, only a small percent earn a significant income for their owners.

However, on the other hand, the fast changing world of Web 2.0 technology has meant that blogs are offering new and exciting ways of promoting yourself, your websites, and your products.

If you think you are producing genuinely interesting content that people will be interested in you should add links to social bookmarking websites like Digg, Reddit, Delicious and StumbleUpon. These websites provide the code you need or you can even get plug-ins to do the job for you. It will take excellent content to get popular on these websites, but if your successful it can bring thousands of visitors to your websites.
