GAP Analysis

Where is our organization now?GAP Analysis

Where do we want our organization to be?

The difference between the two is the Gap.

In education, gap analysis can be a resource and asssessment tool to help the school district or university to compare its current success with its potential future. All educational institutions are finding that they must increase services while cutting budgets; as in Colorado and many other states, this creates a difficult scenario for directors. Most of whom know much of their gaps but cannot find the funding or convince the powers that be, that better use of gap analysis could make them more competitive. This is especially true in higher education where market segment is similar, as well as products.

Let us help you identify the gap between the best use of all your resources and the areas that have room for improvement. This process will include Relativity working with your organization to benchmark and assess where you are and documenting the why. We can then work with you to create a new strategic and operational/tactical perspective. Relativity staff is following a return on investment model whereby we are focused on deliverables supported by direct IT cost savings or increasing the amount of the grant or matching funds available to the organization. As part of this analysis we intend to identify potential cost savings and cash flow multipliers in areas such as grant money collection, telecom billing savings, reduction of the duplicate circuit installations, leverage of teaming with other City, County, State entities and general performance process improvements. These efforts are categorized into three major areas as defined below:

Interagency grant and fun improvement schedule and attend meetings and actual preparing documents to solicit matching grant funds which complement the organization.

Network Management Strategy

Defining the strategy and tactical business case to justify grant requests, matching state funds and federal programs. Strategy also provides the blueprint for the organization to field applications and data to students and teachers rapidly across the organization.

Operational tactical management systems strategy- developing a tactical plan, criteria and technology infrastructure for managing the operational process, grant, state and federal funds. Report on financial and asset expenditure per specific criteria to the grantor/lender on fund usage or to the Board of Education.

Further details in follow-up reviews will be determined on a time and materials basis by the organization and Relativity.
